Assistant Store Manager

The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for assisting in managing the day-to-day retail operations of his/her applicable store inclusive of sales and service, team leadership and operational excellence.

Essential Functions:

  • Assist in developing and implementing strategies to drive sales and key performance indicators
  • Assist in recruiting and training a team of support managers and client experience focused associates
  • Foster a work environment focused on teamwork and productivity
  • Train and coach team to meet and/or adhere to client service standards and company policies and procedures
  • Create and manage in-store events, marketing initiatives and CRM activity to drive and reward repeat business
  • Implement product and visual merchandising directives and techniques to maximize space and drive sales
  • Manage inventory control procedures including product receipt, transfers and returns
  • Manage and maintain store cleanliness and organization, including front of house and stock space

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business preferred but not required
  • 2-4 years of retail store management experience required
  • Minimum of 2 years in a client services related industry required
  • Experience with back office operations management, visual merchandising and recruitment/training required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with Point of Sale systems (Retail Pro preferred)
  • Ability to walk, sit, stand, bend, reach and move continually during working hours
  • Required to work non-traditional hours; weekend, evenings, holidays and overtime if applicable

Retail Supervisor

A supervisor is responsible for managing the sales floor and client associates on a day-to-day basis providing ongoing coaching and development as well as operationally opening or closing the store for the day’s business.

Essential Functions:

  • Manage the salesfloor and client associates
  • Provide ongoing coaching and development to client associates
  • Assist the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in recruiting, training and retaining an exceptional team of client experience focused associates
  • Foster a work environment focused on teamwork and productivity
  • Train and coach team to meet and/or adhere to client service standards and company policies and procedures
  • Help implement product and visual merchandising directives and techniques to maximize space and drive sales
  • Help carry out inventory control procedures including product receipt, transfers and returns
  • Manage and maintain store cleanliness and organization, including front of house and stock space

Qualifications:

  • Required minimum of 1-2 years of store supervisory experience in a complimentary retail environment with back office operations management, sales floor excellence, visual merchandising and recruitment/training.
  • Required minimum of 3 years in a client services related industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications and experience with Point of Sale systems (Retail Pro preferred).
  • You will be required to stand for the majority of the workday; you will need to reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, or crouch as necessary.  You will need to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Required to work non-traditional hours; weekend, evenings, holidays and overtime if applicable

Client Associate

The Client Associate is a sales and service focused player on the sales floor and sets the tone for selling service and in-store culture. S/he should be approachable, focused and playful in their approach to the social environment of the store; focused on building relationships and providing a memorable in-store experience. 

Essential Functions:

  • Create a friendly, open and inviting environment for all in-store guests
  • Maintain an approachable and efficient sales and service focus on the floor
  • Strive for the attainment of store sales goals
  • Develop and retain a following of repeat clients to drive individual sales goals
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of product and communicate fit, fabric and functionality
  • Participate in effective in-store product and visual merchandising
  • Participate in store event and CRM activities

Qualifications:

  • 1 year of retail selling or client service experience in a complimentary environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal social skills
  • Honesty and integrity in all actions
  • Ability to work and thrive in a team environment
  • Ability to stand for prolonged period of time; to reach with hands and arms, and stoop, kneel or crouch; ability to lift and/or move up to 15 lbs
