Network Automation Engineer

Responsibilities include:         

·       As a Network Automation Engineer, you will be developing software
automation solutions for configuring and monitoring our networking
devices, reducing manual tasks, and improving service delivery and consistency

·       Work directly within the Network team to streamline existing processes and design new workflows via network automation for firewalls, servers, and switching hardware to maximize network efficiency and security

·      Perform daily checks on outstanding project tasks keep the team updated with completed milestones

·      Identify, monitor, and communicate to management task performance risks, issues, problems, and participate in the development and implementation of mitigations or provide hands-on assistance as needed

·       Field questions from team members and stakeholders and provide the necessary support to remove roadblocks and keep projects moving forward

·      Design and execution of acceptance testing strategies

·      Generate system level documentation and manuals

·      Maintain configuration management of hardware and software documentation

·      Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established corporate policy, procedures, training

·       Perform other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications/Requirements:

·       2+ years of experience in software development

·       Network-centric software development experience preferred

·       2+ years’ experience with scripting languages, deployment orchestration, and version control

·       Ansible, Python, YAML, JSON experience preferred

·       Experience with concepts around data management
including IaC and Source of Truth strategy preferred

·       Knowledge and experience working with RESTful API preferred

·       Experience with wireless LAN technologies preferred

·       Strong documentation skills

·       Solid understanding of change control processes

Job Title: Network Engineer

Responsibilities include:

·       Supporting the design and deployment of attraction wired and wireless ICS networks and supervisory systems for world class themed entertainment experiences.

·      Support the design of IEC62443 compliant network models to enforce security and increase network segregation and security among ride show networks

·       Configuring firewalls, servers, and switching hardware to maximize network efficiency and security

·       Support of the design deployment of network and monitoring systems for new attractions

·      Implementation and support of the next generation of shared services for ride show networking

·      Perform daily checks on outstanding project tasks keep the team updated with completed milestones

·      Identify, monitor, and communicate to management task performance risks, issues, problems, and participate in the development and implementation of mitigations or provide hands-on assistance as needed

·       Clarify issues or questions for team members and stakeholders and provide the necessary support to remove roadblocks and keep projects moving forward

·       Participate in reviews of attraction network architecture and ensure appropriate security, scalability, safety, redundancy, reliability, and sustainability design strategies are in place and are given proper weighting in the design objectives. 

·       Manage technology vendors

·      Design and execution of acceptance testing strategies

·      Generate system level documentation and manuals

·      Maintain configuration management of hardware and software documentation

·      Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established corporate policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities

·      Be willing to work nights, weekends during peak periods as required

Qualifications/Requirements:

·       Experience working in OT/ICS environments

·      Exposure to audio, video, and lighting control systems is a plus

·       5+ years of experience with IT/OT networking environments

·       Excellent Layer 2 & 3 networking skills. Solid understanding of access and distribution LAN switching environments with VLANs, RSTP, EtherChannel, Multicast and QoS

·       Strong knowledge of firewall configuration and troubleshooting

·       Experience with wireless LAN technologies

·       Exposure to virtualization technologies

·       Experience with common network services, SNMP, Syslog, DNS, NTP, DHCP, AD, etc

·       Experience with SNMPv3 monitoring and management tools

·       Analyze network performance using Wireshark and provide root cause analysis, recommendations, guidance, and expertise in maintaining the highest level of performance

·       Perform complex troubleshooting, backup, archiving, and recovery

·       Strong documentation skills

·       Solid understanding change control processes

·       Strong communication skills both oral and written

·       Ability to work successfully under pressure and are comfortable with change and complexity in dynamic environments

·       Ability to articulate and communicate network design, security, and performance issues to non-technical leadership

·       Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline; equivalent experience acceptable

Job Title: Jr. Network Engineer

 

Summary:

This individual will be responsible for contributing to the commissioning and maintenance of the networks systems and communications infrastructures for the attractions in conjunction with the Controls Systems in Engineering and Safety group. Performs activities related to the design and implementation of attraction industrial networks and communications.  Activities include designing, supervising installation, commissioning, acceptance testing, network support and troubleshooting.  Collaborates with stakeholders and operating partners. Will also collaborate with enterprise IT and Core Safety and Engineering to design and deploy world class theme park attractions.

 

 

Responsibilities include:

·      Support of the design, implementation, and management of network and supervisory systems for new and existing park attractions.

·      Design and execution of acceptance testing strategies.

·      Participate in reviews of attraction network architecture and ensure appropriate security, scalability, safety, redundancy, reliability, and sustainability design strategies are in place and are given proper weighting in the design objectives.  

·      Collaborating with stakeholders from various division to ensure successful deployment while adhering technical requirements. 

·      Implementation and support of the next generation of shared services for ride show networking.

·      Development of a strategy for fault management, including metrics and reporting.

·      Generate system level documentation and manuals.

·      Maintain configuration management of hardware and software.

·      Partner with IT to ensure proper access, accountability, and processes.

·      Ensure Engineering & Tech Services PCs integrate with various tools and programs that are required with technology in the field. 

·      Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established corporate policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.

·      Be willing to periodically work nights, weekends and peak periods as required.  Be on call for support.

·       Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications/Requirements:

Desired Characteristics:

·       Associates degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. Bachelor’s degree is a plus.

·       Works successfully adhering to timelines and are comfortable with change and complexity in dynamic environments.

·       CCNA or equivalent experience.

·       Knowledge of automation tools and containers is a plus.

·       Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git).
