Job Description

Growing Electrical manufacturing company looking for an experienced electromechanical assembler to join the first shift team. The position is Mon - Fri from 6:00AM - 2:30PM, contract to hire depending on performance.

Candidate needs to be very experienced in intricate electronic wiring, but not an Electrician. Will be required to take a basic schematics test during the interview process.

This company is looking for more electrical talent than skill certifications. Must know how to read electrical schematics and perform wiring of components accordingly. Will also be required to perform soldering/ cable assembly/ point to point wiring, crimping, and other tasks as assigned. This position will be 100% electrical /bench-top assembly and should have the ability to "hit the ground running". The position is solely responsible for the electrical panel building/cabinet wiring in the production process.

This company is ITAR certified. Candidate must be a US citizen for compliance or have a valid permanent resident card with A#.

Other Skills required may include:

  • Understanding of electrical and mechanical testing and test equipment.
  • Proficient in the use of blueprints and diagrams.
  • Understanding of a G.M.P. environment
  • Proficiency in the use of a variety of test equipment, assembly equipment and hand tools such as: soldering iron and hand crimp tools, analog & digital multimeters, torque drivers, standard and metric wrenches, socket wrenches, dikes, pliers, wire strippers, drills, heat guns, micrometers, calipers, verniers, digital thermometers, chart recorders,
  • Use of PC to perform automated testing of equipment and data collection
  • Proficiency performing calibration of hand tools, measuring instruments and gages
  • Must have thorough understanding of Geometric Tolerancing and Material Conditions
