What you'll do as: Test Technician
- Perform visual inspections on all product lines.
- Perform production line acceptance testing including insulation tests and function tests.
- Ability to work from detailed instructions, drawings, and procedures.
- Troubleshoot and provide results in a timely fashion (strong troubleshooting skills).
- Record test results and complete paperwork per instructions/procedures.
- Report issues found on failed units.
- Perform some mechanical assembly.
- Ability to handle large gage cables.
- Able to function in a team environment with limited supervision.
- Excellent people skills to include collaborating in a multi-disciplinary, diverse, and dynamic team environment.
- Outstanding work ethics and commitment to organizational success.
- Available to work in an evening shift.
- Other duties as assigned.
Work Experience
- 5 years min. experience with High Voltage Testing
- Two-year technical degree in Applied Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Equivalent college hours in engineering or comparable industry experience.
- Must be able to read and interpret schematics.
- Experience in power electronics.
- Experience in operating standard test equipment including DMMs, oscilloscopes, power analyzers, Isolation testers, etc.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products.

- Ensure compliance with policy and procedures (R&M, HSE, Quality, HR)

- Repair and Maintenance
- Disassembly / assembly of mud motor product line
- Utilize proper measuring equipment for each function
- Safely and efficiently utilize proper tooling to execute motor maintenance
- Complete related documentation
- Maintain complete tool maintenance records as required
- Accurately report inventory consumption
- Seek appropriate approval prior for component scrap
- Liaise with supervisors to identify 3rd party repair requirements
- Assure compliance with ISO 9001 requirements within the employee job scope
- Assure compliance with reliability objectives, root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Assist with physical asset / inventory counts
- Assist with maintenance of inventory and shop supplies
- Paint and stencil tools
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Work Experience
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- High school diploma or GED
- One year of assembly experience in a manufacturing setting is required. Three years of experience is preferred
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, high-pressured, and fast-paced environment
- Ability to comprehend production requirements
- Ability to speak, read, and write the English language fluently
- Ability to operate torque machine, overhead crane, forklift and other related equipment
- Ability to read a tape measure, micrometers, and other measuring equipment
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Lift a minimum of 50lbs, repeatedly, without assistance and up to 100lbs with assistance
- Push/pull heavy objects with the proper equipment
- Wear the appropriate PPE when required (i.e., safety glasses or side shields, steel-toe footwear, etc.)
- Stand for long periods of time; up to 8-12 hours a day
