At Chick-fil-A Mira Mesa, we continually serve our guests not only through the drive thru and dining room but also through home delivery. Delivery drivers make up an unique arm of the restaurant. Drivers are not just expected to deliver food, but also to continually and genuinely represent Chick-fil-A.
The Driver position reports to the Operations Director and assisting leadership. While a majority of their position will require delivering food to guests, drivers are also expected to be a part of the whole Chick-fil-A team. This will be completed by assisting in the front counter and drive thru as needed and learning core positions in those areas. Drivers will be scheduled for delivery shifts. During that shift, they will take any delivery orders assigned to them and assist the rest of the team during any down time.
Drivers receive minimum wage plus all tips received from orders taken within their shift. As Chick-fil-A provides company vehicles for Drivers, Drivers do not need to pay for gas or vehicle maintenance.
Full time and part time positions are available.
